Forster Steel Profile Systems
Our narrow steel profile framing options, by Forster, eliminate the historically bulky, institutional look of fire-rated framing. Our Forster profiles allow for maximized glass sizes along with substantially improved sight lines.
This is true for every product category – from smoke doors, 45-minute doors & windows… all the way up to 2-HR curtain wall assemblies. In fact, we can even combine 1 & 2HR butt-glazed window walls alongside narrow profile full vision doors with the slimmest possible framing transition between the sidelite and door vision glass.

Smoke Door Framing Systems by McGrory Glass are a rigorously tested, Intertek Listed, narrow steel complete profile system designed for flush mounted single or double-leaf doors, windows, and glazed enclosures. Common applications include: elevator lobbies, corridor doors, smoke partitions, atriums, underground buildings, health care facilities, ambulatory care facilities, exit enclosures/passageways, and more.
Easy to install, our smoke doors are available in a RAL powder color finish, with both standard and custom options to match your desired color scheme.

AGC Pyrobel®️ Fire-Resistant Safety Glass with Temperature Rise Performance by McGrory is a barrier-to-heat product that protects against radiant and conductive heat transfer. These ASTM E119 and UL 263 tested products have ratings up to 2 Hours, and are Cradle to Cradle Certified™, with stable, non-insulated construction for maximum performance.
Modern and stylish, low-iron AGC Pyrobel® glazing options satisfy architects’ and designers’ requirements for large-format, unbroken glass elements.

Smooth, clear, float-glass-quality fire-protective glazing prevents the spread of fire, hot gases and smoke. PYRAN® Platinum F & L offers additional impact safety ratings for locations such as door lites, transoms or sidelites, and windows.
