SCHOTT PYRAN®️ Platinum Fire-Rated Glass

SCHOTT PRYAN® Platinum products by McGrory Glass are a fire-protective glass-ceramic material that offers the largest sheet sizes in the industry – 51 x 99 inches – with no amber tint. Smooth, clear, float-glass-quality fire-protective glazing prevents the spread of fire, hot gases and smoke. PYRAN® Platinum F & L offers additional impact safety ratings for locations such as door lites, transoms or sidelites, and windows.

Tests are performed in accordance with UL 9, UL 10B, UL 10C, UBC 7-2 (1997), UBC 7-4 (1997), NFPA 252, NFPA 257, NFPA 80, ASTM E2010-01, ASTM E2074-00, ULCCAN4 S-104 and ULCCAN4 S-106.

Schott PYRAN® Platinum products are fire-protective glazing and not considered a barrier to radiant heat. They do not meet ASTM E-119 or UL 263 test standards. Contact McGrory for fire-resistive products that comply with temperature rise barrier to heat performance criteria.
